A: No, it is impossible. Even if the participant were to be left in a trance state, they would wake up on their own by slipping into a natural sleep.

A: No, hypnosis is not dangerous when practiced by an experienced practitioner. However, this trade is no different than any other. For instance, dentistry is completely safe, but if practiced by a self taught, non-licensed, uninsured dentist, there would be obvious risks!
