Q: Can participants get
locked in a trance state?
A: No, it is impossible. Even if the participant were to be left in a trance state, they would wake up on their own by slipping into a natural sleep.
Q: Is hypnosis dangerous?
A: No, hypnosis is not dangerous when practiced by an experienced practitioner. However, this trade is no different than any other. For instance, dentistry is completely safe, but if practiced by a self taught, non-licensed, uninsured dentist, there would be obvious risks! The same is true of a hypnotist that is not legitimately trained, certified, and insured. Utilizing this type of hypnotist can have an adverse effect on the hypnotized individuals, the show and your audience.

I am proud of my show because I never embarrass anyone on stage, nor let anyone embarrass themselves! This is another reason I return year after year to the same clients! It may be funny to some people to dress the V.P like a member of the opposite sex, but for long term success I rely on non-demeaning humor that is just as funny and without negative repercussions and is not offensive to audience members! ☺
