Overcome Phobia with EFT

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is an awesome technique for rapidly dissolving negative emotions...
In this video I’m demonstrating the use of EFT to help resolve an emotionally charged snake phobia. I like to use phobias for demonstrations because:

1) It’s very easy to drum up the fear. The person merely has to think about or imagine it, and the fear will immediately begin to rear it’s ugly head. The audience can note the physical change in the volunteer as the fear begins to manifest.

2) Phobias are annoying, but usually not uncomfortably personal in a group setting. People are willing to talk about fears, but may be reluctant to talk about other emotionally personal issues in a seminar in front of strangers.

3) It is very easy to see the “before and after” effects of a brief intervention with EFT. A person can imagine the problem scenario, but it does not have the emotional charge that was present just minutes before. Many phobias can be tested first hand right at the seminar.

For example, a person who previously had an elevator phobia can go take the hotel elevator and come back with a report for the group. Their excitement from the experience is contagious for the attendees who want to learn more about this amazing technique.

Once you’ve done a demonstration with a strong fear to get everyone’s attention, move on to other issues important to the attendees as you teach the Emotional Freedom Technique.
